Wet day.
Worked on typewriter in
morning then went to Nell
Malone's creche at 40 Argyll
Sq. W. C : (Miss Depasse) Nell
came home with me & we had
a feast pineapple & cocoanut. [coconut]
Nell stayed so late that she
missed last 'bus. Bought flying
cap etc at Harrod's on way to Nell.
WED. MARCH 22 1916
Wrote in morning then met
Miss N. Smyth at Int. Suffrage
Club, 9 Grafton St at 4.30 &
had tea. Home by Brompton
Rd to call for Mrs Ussher
but she had gone. Tired, went
to bed early.
