Went to bank & thence to
lunch with Mrs U. Miss Quinlan
& Miss Newcomb at Express D.
Thence to Military office to get
pass to see Claude & to Anzac
buffet & A. & Navy stores &
home most exhausted. Lovely
day some clouds but no
rain.

WED. APRIL 5 1916
Went to Caxton Hall meeting &
heard Mrs French from Calif.
With her & Miss Smith to
Int. Suff. C. for tea. Then
with Miss Smith to Despard
Arms & had dinner there - got
home cold, exhausted &
depressed. One spat (spot?) of rain during
day.
