Dull day but not
raining. Went thru Cathedral
with a guide & went to the
Weavers. Then went out
to St Martin's & sat
on steps. Saw a lot of
troops pass.
TUES. JULY 18 1916
Went to St. John's Alm
Hses [Almshouses]. Thence walked to
St. Martin's. Read Daudet
in afternoon and doddered
& went to moving
pictures after tea.
Fine day.
