Coliseum after. It poured
like Australia. Fine coming
home.

TUES. AUG. 15 1916
Pottered - one hr of shorthand
In afternoon went to Westfield
College & stayed with Phyll
till 9.10. Got home at 10.30
via Hyde Pk. Corner. Heavy
showers intermittently all
day.

Eustace Miles (1868-1948)- English tennis player and exponent of fad diets and vegetarianism, wrote many publications on health, diet and exercise. He opened health food shops in London and two restaurants Carshelton and the one at Chelsea, which Miles mentions attending.
