at 4.30 thoroughly exhausted
so went to bed for 3 hrs.
Did half hour shorthand
& a little French & went
to bed at 11. Beastly cold
day.
SAT. AUG. 19 1916
French & shorthand.
In room all day excepting
to shop on King's Rd. Nap
in afternoon. Kath
celebrated 25th birthday
& I had tea in their room
Her Aunt Alice there.
