Went swimming with Olaf at 11.
Water lovely & warm. Gave
Maud the letter about play which
had just come. Then went on
to have lunch with [Young?] Judd
at Regent Palace. He Kath. Mrs
U. & I met in front of High
Commisioners' Office.
Mrs U. & I came back after
Did shorthand.

TUES. SEPT. 12 1916
Rainy day - cold in Dug out.
Shopped at World's End &
pottered at short hand.
Maud sent p.c. saying
Agent wanted me to call
next week re the reader's
opinion on "Somewhere
in London".
