in morning - posted at
Fulham P.O. W. Gibson came
for 2 hrs in afternoon. In evening
Miss Hodge had party for dinner
at Cr. Hse. Then to see
"Daddy L. Legs". Lovely
day.

FRI. SEPT. 22 1916
Went via bank to wait at Min-
-erva Café. Then read Armstrong's
book on Drama writing at B.M.
& went to 2nd hand book stores
in Charing Cross Road & home
Very tired - slept an hour then
lit fire & pottered. No swans
on Thames today.
