Drizzling day but not cold.
Went to B.M. at 10 & read C.F.
Armstrong's book thence to wait at
Minerva - back to B.M. to finish
C.F.A. Home at 5.45 & slept
half an hour. Nell came in for ½
an hour. Had tea & wrote 4th Act
of "The Jackeroo". Retired at 9.45.

SAT. SEPT. 30 1916
Nice day. Worked in room
in morning revising "Jackeroo".
In afternoon at 4 met Lady
Byles for tea at Albermarle
Club on Dover St. Came
home & worked again.
Noted swans & ducks on
old Thames.
