Cold day lit fire
at 11 a.m. Pottered over
French. Went for swim
with Maud at 4. Noted
14 ducks & one swan
Plane trees in Edith Grove still
in fine leaf.
FRI. OCT. 20 1916
Went to wait at Minerva.
Thence to Serbian meeting at
Mansion Hse. with Mrs Aldridge
& home with her to tea &
met Mr & Mrs Adams & then
came home & found Nell
& stayed home that evening.
Observed a struggle between gulls &
swans for bit of bread.
