Went to wait at Minerva
Home via High Commissioners
& St. Geo's Baths to make inquiries
& Fabian Society. Nell came
for tea & we went afterwards to
see H.B. Irving in "The Profess-
-or's Love Story" at the
Savoy. Very wet day.

SAT. OCT. 28 1916
Horribly depressed. Pottered in morning.
In afternoon went to hear Ada Crossley
in Elijah at Albert Hall. Came home
via library & read French papers
& washed head after tea. Dull
day.
