My Dear Friend
I beg you will pardon me
for not having before acknowledged your
kind letter, which I received in September
last; but I have not heard an opportunity
since that time untill the present. In which
I could forward one; but I hope this will
suffice; - I now gratefully return my
most hearty thanks for your kind [admonitions]
and advice contained in it; I like to hear
to you talk freely concerning the state of our
Immortal Souls; - and I very much value
[crossed out word] Religious corresondence, "from a Sincere
Friend in a foreign Clime;
