Very Dear Sir
The repeated kindness of yourself & family
to a stranger in one of the noblest Cities in the world
demands a return, far greater than my powers of writing
will allow - be assured my heart feels more than my
[indecipherable] can express - May he who suffers no unkindness
to pass without notice, amply repay your kindness
& that in an abundant measure by showering upon
you & yours those [indecipherable] [indecipherable] spring mercies
which are treasured up in Christ Jesus & flow through
the merits of his atonement to every believer

You wished me to write & I feel willing though
incapable - correct my faults & you will act a
friendly [indecipherable] - through the tender mercies of
our gracious God I have been brought in peace
