Revd & Dear Sir

The many favours you have already
conferred upon me demand my warmest thanks
they have not I trust been conferred nor received
in vain; and with heartfelt gratitude do I acknow-
ledge the goodness of that Sovereign Disposer of
all things who has raised to me such a friend
in such a world as this and I sincerely pray
that by the assistance of His Holy Spirit I
may ever be enabled to act worthy so great
a gift to the honor & glory of his Blessed Name.
