was. Oh that she may be "found of God
in Christ!" to use the words of a [indecipherable] & highly
esteemed Revd. Friend who has lately favored me
with his valuable correspondence. & that I
could have satisfactory evidence of her real
conversion to God. But she is now gone from
me for we are again separated probably never
more to meet in this side Eternity! She is
gone to England: and I must now inform you
truly as a real friend of the occasion of her
taking that step. For some time after her
arrival here her conduct was highly gratify-

I trust her going to England will, by the blessing
of the Lord, prove for her spiritual profit -

friend, join me in praying that this may be
the case. She has Letters of introduction to
several Ministers & other respectable friends in
London, where she intends to reside for some
time at least. She has left a letter for
you, & another for the Revd. W. Cowper, which
I shall forward with this.

The Lord still continues to prosper our poor laborers
here, and to add to the Church from time to time
such as we hope shall be [indecipherable] for and the people
