My Dear Friend
Yours of the 10 March/22, I only
received; and now sit down to answer it. I was pleas-
ed to hear from you, and more so as your letter
breaths the breath of Spiritual life. Well is it
for us Dear Sir, that we are aquainted with
the [indecipherable] of Life, and place all our dependance
upon a [indecipherable] Jehovah. - We may hold up our
heads in holy triumph, and rejoice if God be our
father and [indecipherable]. We need not covet the good
will of earthly Governors, if Jesus be our Dear
brother; nor need we lack wisdom if the Holy
Spirit is our quickener and sanctifier. - There
is a fountain the streams whereof make glad
the City of our God, so this fountain we
may constantly approach, and there drink full
Drafts of living water. It is a fountain opened
for every one who is Dry to Drink, and its virtue
is so great, that whoever Drinks shall thirst no
more. Thirst no more for [indecipherable] joys, - will be
enabled to view windows that were before hid
to the eye, and taste sweets that will never
[indecipherable], joys that are incomprehensible, and plea-
sures that will never die. Well may a new berth
be called a Spiritual one, and no window that
a worldly Man cannot understand its true
nature and excellences.
