families and prepare the way for them before
they take them. I rejoice that a mission
is going to be established at the above Islands,
and shall earnestly pray for its prosperings
but I wish the missionaries to put the natives
exceedingly luscious {undecipherable} Chiefs under
no temptation to cut them off, at the very first that they
may possess their wives. From what Capt.
Charlton of the Endeavour Schooner informed
me respecting their intentions, I fear he will
have sailed before this arrives. I would wish
them to know this my sentiments respecting the matter
before the {undecipherable} Pleas to give my
affectionate regards to your dear Mother,
Brothers & Sisters, and accept the same for
