possession of the said Books, but, hitherto, without success.
If I go without, the Committee at Home will
certainly be disappointed and dissatisfied: Besides I am
sure that its being kept back will not benefit the cause
of the Redeemer in New Zealand.
I therefore beg leave, again, urgently to request
that you will be pleased to take such steps as you may
deem needful, in order that I may obtain possession of
the said Journal, with as little delay as possible, as the
Marshal Wellington will very shortly get to Sea, God willing.
