2.3 MARY SUSANNAH HASSALL (1823-1877)

Mary Susannah Hassall was born on 27 May 1823 in Cobbitty. On 25 June 1846 she
married Charles Cobb Wildash, who helped his brother-in-law James Mileham Hassall trek across
country with two bullock waggons and all their furniture and belongings to Wambrook, Cooma.

Their daughter Lucy Elizabeth Wildash married her cousin Alexander Campbell, the son
of Ann Hassall and Roberth Mackay Campbell. To make things more complex, Lucy and Alexander
Campell's son, Clarence Campbell then married his cousin, Florence Gerard Wildash - the
daughter of Lucy Campbell's brother, Charles Wildash.

Mary Wildash died on 5 May 1877 in Yass and Charles Wildash died in 1907 in Young.
They had the following children:

2.3.1 LUCY ELIZABETH WILDASH (1847-1927)

Lucy Elizabeth Wildash was born in 1847 in Yass and in 1868 in Binalong married
Alexander John Campbell. She died in 1827 in Picton and he died in 1926 there.

2.3.2 CHARLES JOHN WILDASH (1849-1937)

Charles John Wildash was born in 1849 in Yass and in 1881 in Ryde married
Elizabeth Emily Gerard. They both died in 1937 in Chatswood. They had six children: Mary
Gerard Wildash who was born in 1882 in Ryde and married in 1925 in Chatswood, William Martin;
Charles Gerard (Jack) Wildash who was born in 1884 in Berrima and married in 1915 in Sydney,
Vera M. Lane; Edith G. Wildash who was born in 1885 in Boorowa; Elsie C. Wildash who was
born in 1886 in Narrandera and married in 1920 in Chatswood, Kenneth F. Alford; Constance G.
Wildash who was born in 1888 in Narrandera and in 1926 in North Sydney married Sydney B.
Chambers; and Florence G. Wildash who was born in 1892 in Narrandera and married in 1928 in
North Sydney, Clarence W. Campbell.

2.3.3 ISABELLA M. WILDASH (1851-1916)

Isabella M. (Issie) Wildash was born in 1851 in Yass and died in 1916, unmarried,
in St. Leonards.

2.3.4 ANNE H. WILDASH (1853-?)

Anne H. Wildash was born in 1853 in Yass and in 1880 in Woollahra married George
G. Mackay. They had four children: Mary Mackay; Kathleen Mackay who married ? Brouch;
Isobel Mackay who married Frank Wells; and Ralph Mackay.

2.3.5 LYDIA E. A. WILDASH (1855-?)

Lydia (Lily) E. A. Wildash was born in 1855 and married in 1882 in Boorowa Francis
Gilbert Middleton. He died on 9 November 1918 at Murrumburrah. They had six children:
Carlyle Wildash Middleton who was born in 1882 in Booroowa and died in 1884 in Muswellbrook;
