In free gov^t [government] – good rulers – wise laws –
equal rights – sure protection – precious
privileges – religious institution – divine love.
These are the riches of G^s [God's] goodness – who giveth
us all things richly to enjoy.

Bestowed freely on us – with a hand
large & liberal –.

We receive blessings as
freely as tho. [though] we had never sinned.
God heaps them on us for some reason;
Even when ungratefully received.
"Sun shine [Sunshine] evil good – rain just unjust!!."

2 In the Riches of his forbearance.

By this is meant G^s [God's] forbearing to
cut men off – immediately – to deal with
them as they deserve. He spares them
then much evil – forbears inflicting
that wh. [which] is nec. [necessary] for a long time.
