Desire of wealth not wrong kept within
the limits of justice & benevolence.

Becomes so when men are "lovers of their
own selves, (i.e. [that is] unduly), covetous" ~

Instead of taking God for the portion of the
Soul they take money –

Since gold gets what it touches – men will have
wh't [what] they touch turn to gold.

Includes not only getting money, but
also Keeping it – any w'r [anywhere] love of money
however disposed of.

Such is the nature of Covet^ss [Covetousness] ~
