miserliness in genuine form. Not very
common – here & there an example. Money
is a compendium of all things – – men get
the world condensed into hard dollars & wor-
-ship it – delight in contemng [contemplating] & gazing on it. –
– with the bare possession of such multum in parvo [Latin for "much in little"].
