Led by miracle – raised up
prophets – gave them promises – &
raised them to honor – as Paul says
Rom. [Romans] 9:4,5 ~ Centurion had there learned
of God – the religion of Jews – & had be-
-lieved it, & felt its power. This laid –
as such benefit sh'd [should] the basis of a living
& strong attachment ~

Piety now dictates to us to love the
Jews – much indebted to them – tho. [though]
they are now suffering for their sin.

First in converting world – may be
equally honored again.

"If falling &c. [etc.] be t. [the] riches of t. [the] world –
& t. [the] diminish. [diminishing] of then t. [the] riches of Gentiles
how much more their fulness [fullness]" ~
