So run as to obtain – some
do not obtain. It is irrational
& unscriptural to hope for the
rewards of religion – without being
religious – to be forgiven without
a spirit of forgiveness – to be
fit for heaven – without beginning
heaven here below ~

Strive not as one that beateth
the air – as one that ventures
his all for eternity on some-
-thing in the death-hour, or the future world
wh. [which] kn he knows & can know nothing
of. – Now is the time to win the
crown – Cast it not away!!
