1. It is not merely of the nature of an ex-
-hortation – or candid – advice. That one may
or may not heed acc. [according] to his own judg^t [judgment]
in the – being held respons. [responsible] for his judgment.

2. Not of t. [the] nat. [nature] of a mere arbitrary rule
laid down – without ref. [reference] to kn. [knowledge] or judg^t [judgment] –
or feeling – in those whom it affects.

tho. [though] some of her devotees have wrongly insisted on them.
