"Some dare not sin outwardly.
dare not omit hours of prayer –
are restless in their Spirits till they
have done – but they go to it as to
execution – stay from it as long as
they can, they drive, like Pharaohs [Pharaoh's]
Chariots with wheels off, sadly &
heavily – they have reserved to
selves t. [the] best part of their sacri-
-fice – do not give their will to
God – do not love Him with
all their heart – they are
apt to be drawn away – & soon
fall off from duty entirely."

Do not advise to cease
but to begin these services
with a diff [different] – Spirit &
temper of mind.
