in pursuit of Soul's Salvation – as a man

What then is it to be in earnest
in the pursuit of Salvation?

1 To be full of warmth, zeal, energy,
activity; – eyes-open – (no noise) limbs free – hands un-
-gloved – heart beating – mind elate – hopes buoyant –
feelings glowing – faculties aroused – soul on fire.
Ready, eager, to undertake anything that prom-
-ises to further his object ~
