I Tenets teach – that – one is bound to live
industriously & laboriously – to acquire property
in order that he may have – to impart to
the needy. –

1. No one has any right to acquire prop-
-ty [property], to consume it upon his lusts –

2. Ought to labor for a competence – that
instead of needing help – he may help others.

3. Ought to think – that when we have done
our utmost to gain a competence – if we fail
that our poverty is no crime – it is God's dis-
-cipline – we must bear it cheerfully ~
