meant – not moral evil = sin;
for God is not the author of sin.

All events – but miracles – happening
according to known laws are still
providences of God – He their author
& director.

No fatalism here – for the free-
-agency of man comes in with
other elements, in the mind of God
when he fixes on plans of over-
-ruling Providence – & righteous
judgment.
