It suffers under his rebuke &
withers under his frown – & can
never abide the day of his vindication.

He hates it with all the intensity
of his soul –. He has not an at-
-tribute which is not arrayed vs [versus]
it – which will not evelong [everlong] over-
-whelm & demolish it, & sink it
down to the lowest deeps [depths] ~

It is therefore without his strength – his
warrant – his favor, his smile, or
his blessing; & can not but be weak
tottering, trembling & afraid before
him – shrinking aghast before the
burning glory of his presence ~
