Men know same things but don't know
them alike ~
State of their minds
cause them to apprehend things
very differently ~
3 It provokes the displeasure
of heaven.
Does your bosom heave with indignation
toward black-hearted villany [villainy] & inhu-
-man malignity – & shall no feeling
of displeasure rise in the bosom of a
pure & holy God?
Can he see wrong – folly – sin &c [etc.] –
without any emotions?
