1 We are not delivered to commit
abominations – sin is our own fault,
– a deliberate doing of evil known
wrong.

Not a social necessity – not a
mere weakness – not a mistake.

2 Pain – suffering – sorrow – are the
consequences of sin & designed to
correct it, or prevent it.

No natural or physical evil could
be evil to a holy being.

3 The great aim & business of life
should be to rid ourselves of sin.
Take God's discipline as the means
of it – & not repine when we
suffer – it is for good in design.

Think, oh, think of what you
are doing – of what you ought
to do!!
