Socialistic schemes, we are not
more disposed to grapple, because
Social Science, and the Science of
political economy, exist, as yet,
but in crude and crazed con-
-ditions.

The discontents that
emerge logically from poor, de-
-ficient, and false philosophies
are the oldest, most persistent, &
most lamentable of all. They
may finally wear out and ex-
-pire, because such philosophies
must die, or humanity will; since
they are inconsistent with human
progress, and destructive of all
the higher forms of human good.
