is mystery but a condition of
our mind which will belong to it
always in some measure, because
it is a limited & finite mind, al-
-though there be a continual and
glorious lifting away of its cur-
-tains, curtains that are not
always without some beauty
of their own? The truth, then,
that there may hang some mys-
-tery about the Supernatural need
cause us no difficulty, embarrass-
-ment, or hesitation, since we should
be surprised if not appalled
were it not there. The human mind
is not afraid of mystery nor
