29th On the morning of the lords day.
We bless the lord, who hast showed us light , and the light
We see is the lords, that we see one more of the days of the
son of man: a day to be spent in thy courts, which is better
than a thousand elsewhere,
I am obliged to stay at home for the rain and the
damp weather , I am greaved to think that I cannot go
for I love the house of worship, O that I may be in the
Spirit on the lord day, that we may call the sabbath a
delight
I love the volumes of thy word,
What light and you these leaves afford
to souls benighted and distrest:
thy precepts guide my doubtful way,
thy fear forbids my feet to stray,
thy promise leads my heart to rest,
