When first informed of his danger I was overpowered with
the Good of God, for Some moments plunged in the deepesy
Silence, and unable to give utterance to my feelings, but
falling on my knees and return thanks to God that the object
of my tenderest Solicitude was a live,
but now beyond the reach or the need of prayer, and
that he has crowned the abundance of his mercies toward
him by giving him to Easy and gentle a dismissal,
in these moments of bitter Suffering and overwhelming
aflliction, I was upheld by Gods gracious assistance in a
remarkable maner, Elisebeth is in the cuntry for her health,

O I wish that i was as Good as he is, christ dewelleth
in him, O how thankfull I aught to be, that he
will come in Evry morning to pray with Such poor Sinners
