they generally roast on burning
charcoal, but eat it generally very
underdone. If they have larger
pieces of meat or whole animals
they make an oven that is to say
on a layer or heap of stones they make first
a great fire when the stones are almost
red hot the piece of meat is thrown
on it some of the stones are removed
and often laying a few bougts on
the meat the other hot stones are
laid on the boughs then perhaps a few
more boughs & then the meat may
be said to be cooked by steaming.
