Friday the 20th June 1856 Finished Cutting our
Mediterranean Wheat and commenced our
White Wheat & Rye we have 5 acres of white
wheat (smothe head) next to Tatems in the corner and about 10
Acres of Rye in the Cassel field
Our white wheat is verry good & I think will make 75 Bus
we shall see We had 663 [?] Mediteranean wheat in pump field
an 511 [?] in cassel field 1374 [?] in all & 171 [?] white wheat

Saturday the 21 June 1856 Finished Harvesting
to day We had 171 Doz White WHeat and 90 Doz
Rye verry warm to day therm. at 93 degres

Sunday the 22 June 1856 Thermometer stood at
95 degrees in the shade

Monday the 23rd June 1856 running 4 plows plowing
our corn the 3rd time warm Ther 90 Deg

Tuesday the 24 June 1856 Run 5 plows in our
corn in the afternoon it rained a
light shower

Wednesday the 25 June 1856 Commenced plowing
our corn the 4th time with 2 plows
in the orchard not quite done the 3rd
time yet but will get done tomorrow

Thursday the 26 June 1856 Finished
plowing our corn the 3rd time
Commenced Halling in wheat in the
afternoon getting Dry & verry
warm Ther 93 Deg

Friday the 27 June 1856 Halled
Wheat with 2 waggons all day
Ther 93

Saturday 27th June 1856
plowed with six plows all day
Heat & dry Thre 93
