Thursday The 23rd April 1857 Commenced planting corn in
the field east of the meaow- + heallingmanure with
n wagons verry cold this morning plent of Ice
+ the ground frozen
Friday the 24 April 1857 planted corn + healled manure
some warmer today but still cool
Saturday the 25 April 1857 Healled manure + planted
corn as yesterday Some what warmer
Monday the 27th April Healled manure with
n wagons + planted corn with one plow
Friday Today moderate but not warm
Tuesday Tho 28th April 1857 Healled manure as
yesterday but did not finish the field east of the
meadow finished planting before night
