Satuday the 27th June 1857 plowed in the mornng
+ then cut wheat until mddle of the afternoon
there came a light shower of rain + stoped us not enough
rain to do much good
our oats is Dying for the want of Rian ther gzDay

Monday the 29th June 1857 put wheat this morning until
10 O clock it then rained a light shower + stped us a while
ur pots sick went to cutting in the afternoon
+ finished the cherry orchard

Tuesday the 30 June 1857 cut wheat all day with
4 cradle coll + verry dry

Wednesday the 1st July 1857 cut wheat all day with
4 cradle, for Both lick
still cool + dry in the evening there was Twindy
showers palsing round but we got none

Thursday the 2nd July 1857 finished butting
Wheat this morning + went to cuttying Rye
+ finished it We made this year 563 Day
purple straw wheat + 1530 Dog white wheat
the white wheat in some places was not filled
well but where it there was no glades it
was verry well filled (2113 Dog in all)
onto Acres of land
we had 52 Day Rye
verry cool to day + dry

Friday the 3 July 1857 Finished plowing the cassel field
the 4th Time + Commenced in the mud rood field

Saturday 4th July 1857 Commenced he alling in
wheat to day + cleaned the Cherry Orchard
and Turned the Hogs in thiu verry eooletday
no Rain since the first of June except a few light
showers our acts in mearly nine + has had
no rain semer they commenced Booting
