corn we cut 35 Acres + 27 Acres Pea vines

Loads + the pea vines about 50 loads
[down] frost again this morning

Saturday the 3 Oct 1857 rained last night
and today we finished cleaning up our
wheat we had 370 [] white wheat and
176 [Bu] purple straw in all 526 Bu our []
crop made 32 [] only

Monday the 5rh October 1857 commenced
SOWING WHEAT today at noon
in the field south of the houses narrowing
it in with two harrows [] 2 [plow]
sowing wheat in orchard we sow the
purple straw wheat ground in []
order for [harrowing]

Tuesday the 6 Oct 1857 sowed wheat
as we did yesterday the little hands
pecking peas

Wednesday the 7th Octr 1857 sowed
wheat + picked peas

Thursday the 8th Oct 1857 sowed wheat
