Saturday the 31 Oct 1857 finished sowing the
field East of meadow in wheat 33 acres in all
including the []

Saturday the 7 Nov 1857 gathered the corn
next to [] + the New ground corn that
we cut off halled up the stalks
sowed [] new ground 4 acres in[of]
wheat and a part of the []field
but did not get [quite] dove we are
sowing the red may wheat

Bu Red may wheat on stalk []

then cleared off cold yesterday Evening about
dark Newry my negro boy 10 years old started to
a corn shucking at [] Arthurs + got lost
