corn in the cassel field to dry

Thursday the 12 Novr 1857 finished gathering the cassel
field of corn it made about 600 Bu 40 acres
it would of made 200 Bu more but the []
worms injured it in the spring + summer

Friday the 13th Novr 1857 sowed 4 acres in
what [] the [] lot which is the last
wheat we expect to sow this year

Saturday the 14 Novr 1857 gathered peas in
the cassel field there is a great many in
the field path sick today

Monday the 16 Novr 1857 commenced gathering corn
+ halling stalk in [] field [] sick

Friday the 20th Novr 1857 rained yeserday + cleared
away cold verry cold [threr] this morning 15 deg
and verry cold all day ther 27 at 12 oclock
done almost [] [] []

Saturday the 21 Novr 1857 still cold this
morning ther 18 but the wind does not blow
like it did yesterday halled corn hulled
stalks + corn

Friday the 27 Nov 1857 been shucking corn
+ halling corn stalks all the week still verry
cold ther this morning at 16 deg not []
our corn yet 12 acres of corn + stalks to get [] get wheat it has been 80 verry cold we got
