Monday the 8th July 1858 Cold and frosty this morning
but warm and nuce after the morning
made fence at [cassel?] [illegible]

Tuesday the 9th Febuary made fence around cherry orchard
and halled rail from Perry with 2 wagons weather verry
fine and warm

Wednsday the 10th Febuary 1858 made fence and put Rocky
under the fence adn [illegible] nails and rocks
some colder today at night getting keen and cold
wind [illegible] the month
Thursday the 11 febuary 1858 quite cold this morning [illegible]
[illegible] chopped coal wood in the old field east of
plantation
Friday the 12th Feby 1858 commenced snowing this morning
about 5 oclock and snowid all day and until 9 oclk at
night it then commenced hailing and continued all
night the snow and hail is about 9 in deep and still hailing on saturday morning at [10ck?} ther 26 this morning

Saturday the 13th Feby 1858 [illegible] morning
shall hailing but stopped about 10 o clock and cleared
off not very cold the hail and snow is 9in
deep

Monday the 15 Feby 1858 [illegible] and snown
yesterday snow settled and melted considerably
but quire cold this morning tem 21 the most
Frost on the trees I have erver seen
sun shined warm all day the snow melted
a good deal but not so dast as yesterday
done y work out of doors today
cut feed and made two ladders to day

Tuesday the 16th Feby 1858 cold this morning
there at 20 dg above zero [illegible] 23 food
[illegible] today until monday it then turned seventh
the oars and stored is the ice [illegible] 2in thick
