Monday the 8th March 1858 commenced Hailing
and snowing last night and continued all
night and still hailing and snowing this morning
very disagreeable bad weather mind from south
east ylcer 30 snowing this morning it is deep and still
snowing and hailing like January stopped about
noon but at night snowed 2in more

Tuesday the 9th March 1858 quite cold this morning
snow froze hard there is snow did not melt
much to day

Wednsday the 10th March 1858 cold last nigh and
this morning there 21 HALLED 8 Loads
ICE about 1 1/4 in thick after the morning the snow
melted last but cold in the evening again
sone but little work out

Thursday the 11th March 1858 some warmer today the
snow meltid verry fast meanly all gone the muddiest
times I ever saw made limes and halled rails today

Friday the 12th March 1858 moderatily warm today
but there is still some snow in places
Halled rail from Perrys and mades fence aloug the
load next [illegible]

Saturday the 13th March 1858 too [illegible]
started north to buy goods today

monday the 15th March 1858 commenced
sowing oat today [illegible] 8 plows

Saturday the 20th March 1858 finished
sowing oats ive sowed 75 acres all
this week
