yesterday + find we are done []owing oats + have
40 acres of corn land broke up + 70 acres
yet to broke things begin to work Spring
like the peach blooms are just beginning to
open will take them several days to to get
full bloom yet the [] begins to look
green + the wheat looks fine
Wednesday the 31st March 1858 run 4 [] horse plows
for the last three days breaking corn land the other
hands are making blind dithces cloudy + rained a
little in the afternoon
Thursday the 1st Apl 1858 North East Rain to dry
but did not rain a great deal but enough to
keep us from plowing worked in the barn
Friday the 2nd April 1858 Rained until noon
+ stoped to wet to plow for several days
peach blooms just full blown
Monday the 5th April 1858 rained a shower
last night ground too wet to plow today
halled manure in the potatoe patch
clear and warm
Tuesday the 6 Apl 1858 row 4 [] plows
Thursday the 8th Apl Run 4 plows yesterday today
we [] but two and commenced
[listing] in the fulford field with []
plows + one plow making some corners

little fellows making blind diches
Friday the 9th April 1858 rained last night
ground too wet to plow this morning
run two harrows in the fulford field
one wasgon halling rock the ballance of
the hands filling ditches
