Monday the 12th April 1858 rained last night and
until noon today ground verry wet water arose
high cant plow for several days

Tuesday the 13th April 1858 rained again
today ground verry wet done but
little work today

Thursday the 15th April 1858 cleared off
yesterday evening [] cool some frost
this morning but done but little damage
[] cool all day halled manure
yesterday + today until noon we then
tried to plow the ground [] but yet
we plowed

Friday the 16 Apl 1858 plowed until noon it then rained + stoped we again
halled coal wood filled up [] []

Saturday the 17 April 1858 still cloudy
+ raining occasionally ground too
wet to plow halled manure

Monday the 19 Apl 1858 too wet to plow
until noon we then started 6 plows to
listing in the fulford field still cloudy

Tuesday the 20th April finished [sisting] the fulford
field and commenced planting corn
today at noon in the fulford field with
2 plows laying off ground rather wet but we
cant wait any longer
Wednesday the 21 April 1858 planted corn in the
fulford field with 2 plows Dan plowed the
potatoe patch + Andrew harrowing
