Saturday the 5th June 1858 set out 1350
potatoe slips this morning the ground was
too dry but watered them cloudy + warm
+ looks like it would rain but cleared
off without any more rain

Monday the 7th June 1858 commenced mowing
with 4 hand [] 4 plows commenced plant the 3rd time in our corn in the
fulford field verry dry our oats
drying up

Tuesday the 8th June 1858 mowed + plowed
until noon then all hands worked in meadow

Wednesday the 9th June 1858 all hands in
the meadow after 10 oclock got done
mowing but not got the hay all up
still verry dry

Thursday the 10th June 1858 commenced cutting
rye today we had 10 acres in the roberts orchard
it made 125 Oz loterable good rye
finished putting up our hay heads stacks with
2 loads in stuck of verry good no rain on
it still dry + windy

Friday the 11th June 1858 commenced cutting
our red may wheat today in the corner by []
finished that + comeenced on the purple
straw in the apple orchard

Saturday the 12th June 1858 rained a good
shower this morning set out cabbage plants
and then thined corn until noon then
cut wheat in the evening rained another
good shower and we [] corn until
night nearly done thining the barn field
