Tuesday the 15th June 1858 cut wheat today
with six cradles we had wesley myers []
[] and wesley foster binding and B F
Bauls + H Arthur cutting [] Foster helped
shock quite cool + verry nice for harvesting
hired hands todays expences 5.00

Wednesday the 16th June 1858 cut wheat with 5
cradles today clear cool + fine for harvesting

Thursday the 17th June 1858 run 5 cradles to
day cutting wheat got done the oat field south
of the house + began in the mud road field

Friday the 18th June 1858 run 5 cradles + finish
the mud road field today

Saturday the 19th June 1858 finished cutting
wheat today we made 364 oz may wheat
and 1849 oz purple straw in the field south of
house and 918 oz in mud road field making
in all 2878 oz purple straw 111 oz in tatergot
purple straw 2878 oz total crop
may wheat 364/3242 do [] 105 acres
the wheat south of house was sowed in fallow land
and was good that in mud road field was
sown in stalk land and was too late the west
+ chick buy damaged it badly n some places
the may wheat was good I paid for harvesting
[] [] $300 wesly foster 150 H Arthow 1.00
in all $13. 122 just 10 days saving our harvest
