In the afternoon rained hard wet the ground
Thouroughly wet our wheat and oats too

Thursday the 13 July 1858 cloudy this morning moved
aloung the branch by the old [forest?], orchard
in the afternoon rained hard shower and cleared
off we set up our wheat and find it sprouting
in the shack oat worse than the wheat

Wednsday the 14 July 1858 mowed aloug the fence
[illegible] adn halled weeds to the barn yard until
noon then halled in the Hay we cut yesterday
we had 3 lard [food?] aloung the branch
was to wet no rain today
too wet to plow

Thursday the 15th July 1858 [] 3 turning plows
breaking the oat [] by the [] we have
not halled the oat, but plowed in between the
rows of shock, we plowed sugar cane seeds
in a part of what we plowed at the rates
of 2 [] to the acre
we plowed + hoed the cabbage + sweet potatoe
today in the afternoon halled wheat with
3 wagons the wheat is still wet in
the shack but we cant wait for it to
dry we will hall it in + thrash it out
next week if we can
Hulled no oars in yet and have two
days plowing to do yet

Friday the 16th July 1858 [] 8 plow
the barn field until the wheat dried off
then finished halling in WHEAT and commenced halling in oats.

Saturdsay the 17th July 1858 halled in oats all
day with 3 wagons finished the cassel field +got
nearly done the punch field
