Tuesdat the 20th July 1858 finshed
laying by ox corn to day
rained a shower in the after noon
Wednesday the 21 July 1858
negroes plowed three patches
Thursday the 22nd July 1858 commenced
[] wheat with a new machine
+ smith and myself bought [of?]
[] [] [] for $195.00 ive thrashed
364 doz [] wheat + cleaned it up made
91 bushel of good wheat
Friday the 28th July 1858 Thrashed wheat until
the afternoon and the machine broke had to send
to thompson to get it mended went to mowing
in the upper end of the mud road meadow with
3 hands the other halling rye
Saturday the 24 July 1858 mowed until noon verry
cloudy but no rain choped over the corn +hoed the
cabbage in the afternoon the hat did not cure enough
to [] []
Monday the 26th July 1858 TAX paying here today
commenced thrashing wheat again this morning + got on
verry well all day TAX Paying here
today
Tuesday the 27 July 1858 Thrashed wheat all
day with our hands 3 hands from Dr. Wiseman
H. Athan from Perry and Elyoh foster hired to help
